Welcome to Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh is a vibrant and highly LGBT-friendly gem that is steeped in fascinating culture. From the Silver Pagoda, a stunning piece of architecture that is encrusted with diamonds and silver, to the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, a shocking reminder of one of the most defining moment of Cambodia´s recent history. There is no shortage of cultural sites.

When night falls and you have had your fill of these windows into the city´s history, you can quench your thirst at one of the many popular gay bars in the city. These often attract an eclectic mix of locals and tourists, making them a perfect platform to meet new people and have a drink or two in a friendly atmosphere. Or simply explore one of the night markets and take your pick of some local cuisine, whilst browsing beautiful trinkets, souvenirs and other local goods.

During the day you can enjoy a wonderful boat tour down one of the three rivers that converge on this animated city. As well as participating in a whole host of other activities, including water sports, shopping, city tours, fine dining and much more.

With a large number of forms of transport, it is very easy to reach every corner of Phnom Penh. Taxis and buses are in no short supply, or if you fancy something different then you can rent a bicycle or settle down in the back of a Tuk Tuk and get from A to B in typical Cambodian fashion.
